HEY GUIZE
i have strep throat and ive been feeling really wonky lately. ive been uber tired and ive been sleeping like, twice a day. i feel rly exhausted. AND REALLY FUCKING HUNGRY ALL THE TIME OMG. like i always feel hungry, but even the thought of every kind of food repulses me. im only not-hungry right after i eat. then an hour later im hungry and repulsed again. MAKE IT STOP PLZ.
maybe its my prescription pillz thats being dumb :o
also, i got a thingy in the mail from sk00l saying:

basically, i already finished the sewing test like, a week before receiving that letter. idk if i passed (im pretty sure i did though) because the guy just told me to turn it in and i could leave.
so idk, am i supposed to turn in some sort of documents or some shit? because i certainly dont have any D:

and i just watched torchwood/children of earth thing today. omg, sadness all over :c
i need something else to watch. and i think supernovatube is being ghay, because no one is uploading there anymore. every other streaming host is dumb/slow or has a time limit -__-
OH, also, merlin is adorable
im forcing my family to watch it. hopefully it wont get can canceled :c

omg, i havent posted here in a LONGGGG time. ive been somewhat MIA from LJ and life in general D:
havent been going out much. so there hasnt been much to ~*blog*~ about.
im in the first day of sickness with like, a cold or flu or something. idk how i got it because i obv havent been going out.
on the plus side, im pretty sure im finally starting school again. so hopefully my social life will be significantly less lame since ill actually be forced to not be completely lazy.
i DID, however, go to a patrick wolf show. he wore this jockstrap on stage. it was epic to say the least lol

i FINALLY got a tablet laptop! YAY :D
it just came in yesterday. no, it wasnt a gift, i bought it for myself -__-
also, i only got one gift (a SHARED one from my parents, lol). 2 necklaces and a tiny box of chocolates lol.
and in return, we spent the day before christmas at the mall looking for all this junk for my dad (a hat and 3 nice scarves), because apparently (accoring to my mother) he needs non-cheapo scarves.... you know, as opposed to the scarves that EVERYONE else in our family uses. apparently he is above that -___-
and we got our mom a wii fit because she wanted it for yoga. she probably wont even use it anyway.
overall, i give this year a D-. the only reason why its not an F is because i got myself a laptop and were practically keeping the wii fit in our apartment since my mother doesnt actually have a wii lol.
ALSO, i found really good screen protectors for the laptop online, but OMFG, CANADIAN SHIPPING SUCKS ASS. it literally costs more than the actual product to ship it here. and i checked how much it would cost to ship it to las vegas, and of course its like, a third of the product price. ugh, fuck this shit. i may just end up scratching the screen into oblivion because i dont want to pay 3 times as much as i should be -___-

some mormon missionary boy started talking to me on the bus today to ask me if i wanted to go to some church to talk about jesus. he had a hot pink laminated piece of paper safety pinned to his backpack. it said something about free translating for chinese people.
i said no thanks. so he started asking other people in front of me right before he got off at his stop with his two other friends.
he was the only one wearing a tie, so im guessing he was the only one out of his friends that was doing to whole general mormon pestering.
how awkward would it be to have a friend like that? just being on a bus with them to go hang out somewhere and them going, "BRB, GOTTA GO ASK PEOPLE ABOUT JESUS."

okay, so before i was in the subway station and there were these huge picture things of stewie and brian from family guy. i seriously thought of chelsea, so i took a picture of them to show her.
anyway, then this homeless guy (im assuming hes homeless, because he seriously looked the part, missing teeth and all) stands in front of the wall so i can take a picture of him. i thought he was kidding, but he literally stood there for a whole minute until i realized he seriously wanted me to take a picture of him. so i caved and took a couple pictures haha. it was weird.

ALSO, IM SO TIRED OF PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT TWILIGHT OMG.
and im aware that me posting this is talking about it, but its negative commentary, so it doesnt count.
i just read this little excerpt from an interview from the guy who plays edward cullen (and cedric diggory from harry potter, apparently) about how stupid the book/character/author is.
"When I was reading them I didn't know how to read it from a teenage girl- or really any kind of woman's perspective, I guess. I don't know why they like it. What I thought was weird about it was when I read it, it seemed like... I was convinced that Stephenie was convinced that she was Bella and that it was like a book that wasn't supposed to be published. And you're reading, like, her sort of sexual fantasy about some... especially when she says it was based on a dream and it's like "oh, I've met this--I've this dream about this sexy guy!" and she just writes this book about it. And some things about Edward are so specific, I was just convinced... like "This woman is mad. She's completely mad and she's in love with her own fictional creation"
"When you read the book," says Pattinson, looking appropriately pallid and interesting even without makeup, "it's like, 'Edward Cullen was so beautiful I creamed myself.' I mean, every line is like that. He's the most ridiculous person who's so amazing at everything. I think a lot of actors tried to play that aspect. I just couldn't do that. i havent posted in forever. i kept putting it off D:
but yeah, im still in calgary, but im leaving for the airport tonight.
things that happened:
- philippines weather was yucky. i was literally the whitest person there.
- i bought this shell/chandelier thing that smells like the ocean (not in a good way, imo)
- i bought a tablet laptop, but returned it. my uncle paid half of it, so he gave me all the money. im probably going to buy a toshiba one when i get to toronto.
- i bought a wii :D
- i went to california to see some relatives. we went to six flags.
- came back to calgray i didnt get my permit here because of the proof of address issues
- my aunt from florida came to visit with her husband and kids (my cousins, obv). we all went golfing. it was hard. i liked driving the golf cart though. they said theyre going to visit me in toronto :D
- i ate out at a lot of restaurants because my uncle doesnt cook. every time we went out he gave me like, 10 or 20 dollars for no reason. he also gives me all his change because he doesnt like holding it.
- my grandmother also gave me an excess amount of money.
and i just now counted all the money i have now, and its $2373 (canadian), plus a lot of coins. $158 in american. and 10 hong kong dollars haha. i know this probably isnt THAT much, but its a lot to me haha. maybe its because theyre mostly in 20s, so it feels like a lot.
ALSO, I HAVE TO TELL MY CRAB STORY!!!!!!!!
so i went to go eat out with my uncle at this restaurant, and i accidentally left the window down about 4 inches or something. then when we leave the restaurant, i open the door to the car and theres this huge ass CRAB on the floor of my seat.
(this is not the actual crab, just google imaged to give more of an effect for this post)
i swear to god someone must have put that thing through the window because theres no other explanation as to how it got there. also, during my trip to the philippines, i realized i have a fear of crabs -_-
so i thought the thing was dead because it was upside down and not moving. then my uncle picked it up and put it on the sidewalk and he said it was alive :O fucking gross. i didnt even want to sit in the front seat anymore :[
WHO WOULD DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT? SERIOUSLY. HAS ANYTHING LIKE THIS EVER HAPPENED TO ANYONE BEFORE? :[[[
ALSO APPARENTLY MOST OF MY RELATIVES ARE REPUBLICANS D: I AM ASHAMED.
one thing im really grateful of is the fact that my parents (especially my dad) are extremely liberal, so i didnt have to grow up in some conservative family. my little cousins are already talking about how they think mccain should win. what is this world coming to :[

ive been at my uncles house in calgary since thursday morning. i wouldnt get internet at all. right now im in vancouver and im leeching the airports wireless internet and im sitting on the floor because thats the only place where an electrical outlet is located.
im going to hong kong right now (its a 2 stop flight to the philippines), so im in the international section of the airport. there are SOOOO many asian people here. i dont think ive seen one non-asian yet. i feel like im already in china.
also, my uncle bought me stuff. i got super mario ds, the controls confuse me :|
i left the plug to the dock of my camera at home. so i cant recharge it. and my uncle said hed buy me a new camera! just because i forgot the plug! i said no though, because i wouldve felt terrible. he already paid for my flight. he did get a new camera for himself though. its also a cybershot, so idk, maybe the plug would work for mine too? probably not though.
i also bought books. i got rant by chuck p. (just because i might as well complete my collection) and lamb by christopher moore. i wanted to get the dexter series but i couldnt find it in the store i went to.
i got a shitload of instant foods with absolutely no nutritional value because im afraid i wont be able to eat anything in the philippines. i have a TON of pasta and snacks. i think ill be anemic by the time i get back.
oh, and on my flight itinerary says "1 vegetarian - non-dairy". idk why they put non-dairy. i have a feeling theyre just going to be serving me a plate of vegetables -____-

ugh, i know i havent posted in a LONG time, but ive been putting it off for some reason.
anyway, IM GOING TO THE PHILIPPINES. in a week. i hope they have internet, not just like, a coconut radio or anything.
a lot of my relatives are going to be there (ones from canada/america and ones in the philippines that ive never met/dont remember). my mother told me to stay with my rich aunt so she can buy me expensive things haha
i might also be going to indonesia. and possibly somewhere else. singapore? idk.
but anyway..............IM SCARED! what am i going to eat? they eat strange shit. like random animal parts. im going to be bringing a lot of lipton instant pastas with me. and natures valley granola bar things. i have a feeling thats all ill be eating :[
oh, and i got a DS :D
what games are fun? i have mario party, nintendogs, and brainage (which is boring, its like math! >:| it keeps telling me my brain is fucking old and senile. sorry it cant read my handwriting.)
also, someone just called my home phone, and i let it go to the answering machine. im guessing they didnt know they called and their phone is in their pocket because all i hear is mumbling and construction. its been going on for a few minutes now and i dont know who it is haha

also, my dad bought me a zune. hes coming to visit this wednesday. i really wanted to get it engraved with all the fancy artwork, but it wouldve taken too long for him to get it before he comes here. but whatever, at least i dont have to deal with my cd player anymore. im kind of tired of listening to harry and the potters.
